We are located at 750 West, South Valley Road, only 5 miles South of Manila just off SR44, just minutes away from the Flaming Gorge National Recreation area, and the Ashley National Forest. There are many things to do and see in this diverse land of scenic beauty.
Manila, Utah in Daggett County is a friendly little stop in the heart of the Flaming Gorge Recreation area. In Manila you will find gas, groceries, restaurants, a post office, an Ashley National Forest / Flaming Gorge District information center, and a small airport.
How to get to us from Manila:
Drive south on SR 44 "Main Street" for 3.5 miles. Just past mile marker 25 turn
right/west onto South Valley Road and drive 1.6 miles. We are
nestled in beautiful "South Valley".
The Flaming Gorge Reservoir is 91 miles of scenic waterways and over 300 miles of shoreline with three marinas located on the lake. Boating and water sports are popular activities on the lake but "The Gorge" is most famous for it’s state and world record size lake trout including Mackinaw, German brown and rainbow. The lake also supports cutthroat trout, kokanee salmon, smallmouth bass, channel catfish and burbot. Boat rentals available at Lucerne Valley Marina.
The Ashley National Forest provides a great variety of activities. There are many hiking, mountain biking, horse and atv trails. High mountain lakes and streams with their great fisheries. Scenic drives along the National Scenic Byway on US191 & UT44, and Sheepcreek Geological Loop off UT44. Wildlife viewing opportunities, visitor centers, and historic sites.
The Green River has become world famous for it’s premier fishing for trophy rainbow and brown trout. The river also provides enjoyment for rafters and hikers along the seven mile stretch between the dam and Little Hole.
